How it works

Step 1: Login in Internet Banking Business

One hour before your appointment, you will receive an email from us explaining how to start the meeting through Internet Banking Business. Log in and select Self Service.

Step 2: Select your appointment

In Internet Banking, under 'Communication and appointments', select 'Manage my appointments'. 

Click 'Start your appointment'.

Step 3: Turn on your camera and microphone

Give permission to use your camera and microphone and check that they are working properly.

Step 4: You're ready for your meeting
Your adviser will be ready to help at the scheduled time.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, you can. Video Banking runs on the Microsoft Teams program. If you use Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge of Safari as a browser, you do not need to download Microsoft Teams. 

If you use another browser, you will need to download Microsoft Teams before starting your appointment.

NB: this is not the Video Banking meeting. You will not be collected from the lobby by an adviser.

We recommend that you use a WiFi network as this provides a more stable video connection. If this is not an option, you can also join a Video Banking meeting through a 4G mobile network.

When your appointment is due to begin, we check whether you're in the Video Banking environment. If you have not joined yet, the adviser will contact you on your telephone number. 

Make sure you check your contact details in the ABN AMRO app or on Internet Banking.

At the beginning of the appointment, you will be asked to allow the use of sound and video. If you have not given permission for sound and video, you can change this by clicking the lock icon next to the address bar. 

If it still isn't working, try to contact your adviser through the chat.
