Holiday allowance bonus - Promotion terms and conditions

This promotion applies to customers who do not invest with ABN AMRO or BUX yet. As a new customer, you will qualify for a €50 bonus if you meet the following criteria:

• You open your first investment account with ABN AMRO or BUX during the promotion period (21 April 2025 to 30 June 2025).
• You set up a periodic investment of €150 for 3 consecutive months (total €450). The latest date you can make your first periodic investment is 1 July 2025.

To take part in the promotion, simply open a Guided Investing, Self-Directed Investing Basic, Self-Directed Investing Plus or BUX investment account. You can only use one account for the promotion.

This promotion runs from 21 April 2025 to 30 June 2025 inclusive. You must open your new investment account by 30 June 2025 at the latest to be eligible. The latest date you can make your first periodic investment is 1 July 2025. You can choose from the following investment accounts:

With Guided Investing

You set up an automatic periodic investment for at least 3 consecutive months, to invest a minimum of €150 a month in one profile fund. These investments will be made from your newly opened investment account.

Leave the total amount of your periodic investments (minimum of €450 if you deposit 3 x €150) in your investment account, and you’ll get a bonus of €50 in your linked bank account in the fourth month.

You don’t need to register for the promotion. If you satisfy the promotion terms and conditions, the €50 bonus will be automatically paid into your linked bank account.

 

With Self-Directed Investing Basic and Self-Directed Investing Plus

You set up an automatic periodic investment for at least 3 consecutive months, to invest a minimum of €150 a month in one investment fund or one periodic ETF. These investments will be made from your newly opened investment account.

Leave the total amount of your periodic investments (minimum of €450 if you deposit 3 x €150) in your investment account, and you’ll get a bonus of €50 in your linked bank account in the fourth month.

You don’t need to register for the promotion. If you satisfy the promotion terms and conditions, the €50 bonus will be automatically paid into your linked bank account.

 

With BUX

Open a BUX account and transfer the money from your ABN AMRO bank account. Then set up an Investment Plan with a periodic investment of €150 or more for at least 3 months in a row. You can choose a ready-made Investment Plan or draw up your own, investing in shares and ETFs.

Leave the total amount of your periodic investments (minimum of €450 if you invest 3 x €150) in your investment account, and you’ll get a bonus of €50 in your ABN AMRO bank account in the fourth month.

You don’t need to register for the promotion. If you satisfy the promotion terms and conditions, the €50 bonus will be automatically paid into your ABN AMRO bank account.

 

1. Open an ABN AMRO Guided Investing, Self Directed Investing Basic, Self Directed Investing Plus or BUX account.
2. Set up an automatic periodic investment of at least €150 a month for 3 consecutive months in one fund or one periodic ETF, or set up a BUX Investment Plan investing at least €150 per month, for 3 consecutive months.
3. Your first periodic investment must start no later than 1 July 2025.
4. Make sure that you have sufficient funds in your linked current account for at least 3 months so that the periodic deposit can actually be made.
5. During these first 3 months, you may not withdraw your executed periodic deposit.
6. You will then receive a €50 bonus on your linked current account in the fourth month.

Example – start 9 May 2025:

You set up a periodic investment with 9 May 2025 as the start date. The 3 monthly periodic investments will then be made on:

• 9 May
• 9 June
• 9 July 

You leave the sum of the 3 monthly periodic investments, i.e. at least €450, in your chosen investment account during these 3 months. You’ll receive your €50 bonus in August.

• The maximum bonus of €50 applies per person, irrespective of the number of registrations. In other words, you can never receive more than €50 per person.
• Make sure that you make 3 investments of €150 in the same fund or periodic ETF, or through a BUX Investment Plan. Leave your investment in your account for at least 3 months.
• Make sure that you have sufficient funds in your linked current account to complete the initial periodic deposits. If a periodic deposit within the first 3 months fails, you will no longer be eligible to receive the bonus.
• In the fourth month after your first monthly periodic investment, the €50 bonus will be paid into the current account linked to your investment account.
• You don’t have to leave your investment in the account after the fourth month.
• You can also participate in the promotion with a joint account.
• You cannot participate in the promotion with both your solo and joint investment accounts.
• Private Banking customers of ABN AMRO MeesPierson are excluded from this promotion.
• Investing involves risks. You can lose your deposit.
