The Duurzaam Wonen Hypotheek (Sustainable Home Mortgage) is a part of your mortgage earmarked for energy-efficiency measures. The mortgage interest rate on this part of your mortgage is lower than that on a similar annuity or linear mortgage, and you can borrow up to 106% of your home’s market value.
Not sure how exactly you want to make your home more sustainable? An Energiebespaarbudget (Energy-Efficiency Budget) will let you finance up to 106% of your home’s pre-renovation value under your current annuity, linear or interest-only mortgage. You will then have two years to make your current home more sustainable, or three years if yours is a new-build.
Already know how you intend to make your home more sustainable? Are the costs involved specified in the valuation report or in an agreement on additional work as part of a home build? Our Energiebesparende voorzieningen (Energy-Efficiency Measures) option will let you finance up to 106% of your home’s pre-renovation value under your current annuity, linear or interest-only mortgage.
If you choose Mortgage Self-Service, you will not be charged for mortgage advice. You will, however, be charged a handling fee to cover the costs incurred to set up your mortgage. This is a fixed fee, i.e. it does not depend on the amount you borrow on your mortgage. You can take out your mortgage yourself from €600.
