ABN AMRO

The bank for Dutch expats

Are you planning to temporarily move abroad, do you already live abroad, or are you planning to return to the Netherlands? Perhaps you don’t know exactly what you need to take care of. We would be happy to help you get started.

ABN AMRO

Living and working abroad

Living abroad may affect your future financial situation. You may, for example, not be accruing state pension entitlements while you live abroad. If you regularly visit the Netherlands, such as to see family, a pied-à-terre apartment may be a good option for you. Find out what you can easily arrange online yourself.
ABN AMRO

Fees

If you decide to keep your ABN AMRO account while living abroad, please bear in mind that you will be charged an additional fee. This fee is intended to cover the costs we have to incur to be allowed to offer our services abroad, which is also subject to strict legislation. This additional fee will be debited along with the other fees for your payment products.
